Comments: Entry down 4 steps into the salon with immediate access to ships AC/DC service panel, galley to port side aft, quarter berth & nav/chart table to starboard side aft. The navigation table has wet locker underneath. The quarter berth that follows provides seating for the nav table. The well layed out U-shaped galley has a 3 burner propane stove/oven "gimballed" for cooking underway. Well insulated ice box with "new" refrigeration, pantry dry box, dish/plate storage rack, microwave & double stainless sinks. A large settee both port & starboard. The port settee being L-shaped and extending inboard to form a double berth. There is a large dining table that services both settee's and stores out of the way onto the port bulkhead making this a well thought out use of space. Storage throughout the cabin is abundant in lockers above the berths and under the settee's. Forward companionway has hanging locker with set of drawers & houses the "new" marine Air Conditioning unit servicing both main cabin as well as forward stateroom. Full size head with private door to the port side, vanity, sink, shower & storage. Forward stateroom has private bi-fold door, large vee-berth w/filler cushion, shelves above the berth, lockers under, hanging locker & bureau, side opening port windows, topside opening hatch. Forward opening access doors to anchor chain/rode storage. "Solar Blue" has the second generation Cape Dory 36 interior meaning that the finish is varnished with a rubbed effect for a beautiful rich teak interior. The cabinetry is also more refined than in earlier models. 11 bronze opening side port windows, 2 topside opening hatch's. Screens for all ports, hatches & companion way door. The cabin Sole replaced new with "Plasteak" xxxx. The entire cabin cushion upholstery recovered with "Sunbrella Plus" in xxxx, which included throw pillows, window curtains. Also in xxxx the interior refinished and repainted around cabin side port lights, all new cabin interior LED lighting, cabin 12 volt rope lighting, new awlgrip applied to the interior portion of the mast.
