Job Description There is a job opening for an Maintenance Mechanic Technician Trainee, starting wage of $14.00/hour. The position will be located at the Pensacola site. The base work schedule is 8 hour days, Monday through Friday with some overtime required. Personnel may be utilized across the site on an as needed basis to support shutdowns, emergencies, and specific skills as determined by Maintenance Leadership. The training program is designed to develop the skills necessary to become an Maintenance Mechanic Technician at the Pensacola Site. Students enrolled in the program are expected to maintain an 80% (B) average. The hiring process will consist of the following steps: Step 1 Pass Florida Ready to Work assessment test with Silver Certification or better. Step 2 Panel interview. Specific Job Requirements Commitment to expanding skills and abilities. Able to accept feedback and act upon it. Willingness to apply learning back on the job. Maintain a sense of personal responsibility and commitment.
