Unloads incoming materials and loads into Point of Use locations for chemical stores. Fills production Point of Use with materials. Collects hazardous waste from production locations and prepares and processes waste for shipment. Bales and processes recycled materials. Assists the chemical stores coordinator in keeping the chemical storage areas organized and clean. Complies with all safety and environmental regulations, and works to create and promote a safe working environment. Supports ACE/CI initiatives (i.e., Standard Work, 5S, etc) Performs all other duties as assigned. Must be able to provide verification of a High school diploma or GED. Must read, write, speak and understand the English language Must be at least 18 years of age or older Must successfully complete Valpar assessment Due to ITAR/EAR restrictions Must be able to provide verification of US Citizenship or Green Card Must pass a Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) Exam, Reference: UTS EH&S ECCN:EAR99 Must have the ability to operate forklift and overhead crane (will be trained) Other Requirements: Ability to work independently with little or no supervision Ability to work in a constant state of alertness Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, co-workers, customers, etc. Ability to be regular and predictable in attendance Ability to work under stress, common deadlines and under pressure Ability to follow rules and policies of the company Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), safety glasses w/side shields and hearing protection Ability to wear gloves (rubber or latex) Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required Must have the ability to push, bend, stoop, stand, kneel and walk for 8+ hours per day. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and lift up to 35 lbs on an ongoing basis. Must be able to work with chemicals. Sensory Requirements are close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Must be willing to relocate to Foley, Alabama: No relocation or interview travel reimbursement available at this time. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High School diploma, GED or equivalent required Must be a US Citizenship or Green Card Must be able to work with chemicals Must successfully complete Valpar assessment Must wear required PPE (including respirator & SARS suit as required; gloves (rubber or latex; eye and hearing protection) Must pass a Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) Exam.
