Registered Nurse Flexi Pool - ICU (PRN 6am - 6pm)-xxxx013 ## Description The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for the assessment, planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies. Reports to the staff Charge Nurse and Critical Care Department Director. Responsible for Nursing Technicians, Licensed Practical Nurses, Graduate Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses who may be working or precepting under the staff Registered Nurse. Responsible for demonstrating ethical and appropriate clinical behavior while continually assuring the patients dignity, privacy and rights in respect to the populations and any other care specific needs of the patient. ## Qualifications Education: Florida licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse required. BSN preferred. Experience: Minimum one year previous RN experience required. One year previous Step Down or ICU experience preferred. Will have and maintain basic EKG skills. Licenses/Certificates: Currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Professional Nurse. Must obtain current BLS certification prior to hire date. Must obtain ACLS certification within 60 days of employment. All certifications must be approved by the American Red Cross and/or the American Heart Association.
